INTRODUCTION/INTEGRITY
At Continental Construction, we believe that everything we do is measured with integrity.
In a perhaps old-fashioned notion that we still hold in reverence, we know that integrity in our people allows us to maintain a foundation built on trust. We believe integrity means our word is our bond. We instill trust — as people, as partners, and as employees.
Integrity in our thinking keeps our process focused on the end result while still considering new possibilities. Integrity in our craft resides in the knowledge that masterful craftsmanship is our benchmark. Integrity in our achievements is why the homes we build stand for life.
As builders, we know that every structure requires a good foundation. We have built integrity for ours.

PHILOSOPHY/VISON
Great achievements don’t simply spring up from nothing. Someone with a vision must plant their idea and make it grow.
At Continental Construction, we feel this vision is what makes our process uniquely suited to create homes that are monuments to a lifestyle.
As an artist selects colors from a pallet, we select just the right property, architect, designers, and craftsmen. These selections are made with every nuance of the project in mind, so that the perfect team is assembled to transform a great opportunity into a magnificent home.
The right mix of the right talents, all working toward a common vision: to create something beyond extraordinary.
DEDICATION/CRAFT

BALANCE/ENVIRONMENT
Too much of anything can be a bad thing. A building, like a life, requires balance.
So, to keep things in balance during the construction process, we consider every aspect. The landscape of the home’s property. The climate in the area. The types of materials needed, and how to get them to the site.
The perfect balance also requires the balancing of people and their skills. Schedules shift. Weather happens. Equipment fails. Even the best laid plans change. When they do, it’s important that someone keeps things in balance by managing those changes, rolling with them, and mastering them.
So if the notion of keeping five plates spinning in the air at all times seems daunting, what does the notion of keeping 10 tons of concrete, 50 laborers, and 20 machines in concert seem like?
To us, it seems like another day in balance.
EXPERTISE/SKILL
Simply having a skill, or being skilled at something, is nothing remarkable. Repetition of a new task, over time, will almost certainly build ability in anyone. But in the world of construction, the playing field has a way of shifting.
New technologies, revolutionary materials, and improved construction techniques are exciting disruptors which require continuing education. At Continental Construction, we track these trends to understand which can benefit our clients and which are just noise.
From the sealing characteristics of closed duct ventilation to methodologies that reduce home mildew, we know — and employ — aspects of Construction that you’ll likely never want to know. Certainly the vast majority of our competitors do not.
We construct a home in ways that control the environment – in both sub-tropic and subzero conditions. Every building technique and material is considered with the optimum outcome in mind.
We do this, very seriously, for a living. You can rest assured we’re not only at the forefront of our industry. We’re also asking all the right questions.

PEOPLE/HUMANITY
We never forget that we build structures for people.
Families live their lives in the residences we create. People are the core of our business, and it’s this connection to humanity that makes our homes speak to the soul and spirit.
We listen. We hear what clients want from their residences. Listening for us is easy. We’re always available. And will even talk to you about an automatic pool cover — ten years later. That’s just part of standing behind our work, which is simply the right thing to do. We take care of the people we work for. Even after ten years.
Even on an automatic pool cover.
CHALLENGE/ACHIEVEMENT
Some look upon projects of great scale and they see a challenge. We see an opportunity for achievement.
Certainly, everyone faces challenges. It’s that fresh set of new challenges that keeps us coming to work every day.
We’ll do whatever it takes to build an unforgettable residence. We’ve dredged coves. We’ve moved buildings without knocking a picture of the wall. You name it, and we’ve likely done it. Or dare us, and we will.
Challenges other companies run from? They’re where we do our best work.

COMPLETION/MAGIC
The completion of a project. It’s where one realizes, totally and irrevocably, that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
After the planning, the stewardship of the project, the give-and-take with scheduling and other factors, the end result is, without question, something magical. Because magic undeniably exists when men, materials, and machines combine to create art you can live in.
Plans and blueprints take shape. The surrounding landscape fills in the picture. Dimensions and features, once only conceived in the mind and on paper, suddenly spring to life in real space and grandeur.
It’s a transformation we never grow tired of.
Although our projects are large in scope, there’s a simplicity to what we do: Integrity. Vision. Craft. Three very simple elements, yet three powerful concepts from which we never stray.
The importance of integrity. The power of creative vision. A craft to which we have dedicated our careers.
You will find all three elements in every square inch of every Continental Construction project.
